Shinjuku!

Shinjuku is another large, awesome district of Tokyo. It is full of people, huge buildings and lights, a red light district, flashy signs, and men in long suit jackets standing outside of clubs to invite business men in to see whatever it is one would see inside those types of places. Although it is famous for this type of thing, it is still full of all types of people enjoying the shopping, eating, and arcades.

Hello Kitties. ;)

Tokyo really comes alive at night. Sometimes it seemed brighter at night than it was during the day!
If you see a sign that says "18" and has a pair of hands stretched out, I'd stay away... even if it looks like a happy fun arcade...

Every time we started to feel worn out, Tokyo would be so awesome and exciting, we would get bursts of energy. We were so happy to be there!!

Ginza!

After the fish market, we wondered over to this beautiful temple and then on to the Ginza area. Ginza is known as a fancy shopping area and is a great place to soak up the Japanese culture.

This is a beautiful middle eastern influenced temple that we happened upon.

We were able to go to see Kabuki at this theater. It was so awesome (even though we didn't really understand what was going on!).

This was inside the Sony building. There were some pretty interesting gadgets in there. I thought this "On/Off Conscious" thing was pretty cool.

We were intrigued by these African pictures so we took a peek inside. The women there were so sweet and insisted that we stay to see all the pictures and have tea with them.

We walked down to the Tokyo Imperial Palace for a look around. It's a huge complex with many gardens, but we weren't allowed to go close to where the Emperor lives.
