Longville, MN

Longville is a cute little town about 15 miles from Island Lake and the self-proclaimed turtle racing capital of the world. Every Wednesday during the summer, they close off the main street and celebrate this title. Vendors lined the streets selling treats and almost 300 children signed up to race. We got some ice cream (sensing a theme here?) and watched the kids and parents cheer for their turtles to cross the finish line.
