We visited an elephant orphanage in the Nairobi National Park. They take care of elephant ages 0-3 that have lost their mothers. Most of the mothers were killed by poachers. Each of the men are assigned one elephant and they have a parent/child type relationship with the elephants. When they are old enough, they are released into the wild.
