Welly

We got really lucky during our short time in Wellington. The area is known for being cloudy and rainy the majority of the time and everyone kept telling us how cold it is there. But, we had awesome weather - a beautiful summer day, not too hot, not too cold. It seemed like a nice city and I hope to spend a few more days there on the way back up north in a couple months.

We took a cable car up to the botanical garden and then walked back down to the city:


Then we went to the zoo!!


The next day, we traveled to the top of Mount Victoria for a nice view of Welly.


Can you find the building that is painted like a zebra? That is where we stayed. :)
